We’re elated to announce that La Vie en Rose has been voted “Best of Women’s Clothing – Suburbs” in Hour Detroit Magazine’s annual “Best of Detroit” poll.
Hour’s poll is a crowd-sourced voting system open to anyone in the area, so the results come from Detroit’s actual eaters, drinkers and shoppers – sweetening this honor even further.
“I never in a million years thought the shop would win,” says Megan Boardman, owner of La Vie en Rose. “After all, we’re just getting started.”
Open since just October 2017, La Vie en Rose has taken the local retail market by storm, offering affordable, stylish clothing in a range of sizes to fit every body and every budget – something few boutiques can declare. This approach was non-negotiable for Megan, who’s primary focus always has been making all women feel empowered, important and beautiful.
“I’m so honored to have won,” says Megan. “I’m honored to have so many loyal, repeat customers who have helped spread the word.”
And we’re in good company – The Peacock Room, an iconic Detroit women’s clothing boutique, won for the same category within the city limits.
“I’m honored to be in the same category as The Peacock Room, a shop I’ve loved for years,” says Megan.

La Vie En Rose is an adorable boutique with unique, trendy clothing, accessories and charming gift ideas. The store is thoughtfully designed to create a relaxed boutique shopping experience with the lovely candle scent, inspirational art quotes and retro music playing in the background.
